3" Cold Air Intake System & Filter for 2005-2011 Toyota Tacoma with 4.0L V6 | eBay

I just wanted to put this out there in case any one wanted to get a cold air intake. I know there are haters and the hater can keep on hating, BUT, I have seen an increase of 2-3 mpg's and my clutch pedal seems freer(tension less). The sound of course is great. But this was less than $ 70 bucks. Today, as we all know, prices are going up and if you want one, WELL, this is incredibly cheap. Snag it while you can.
I don't know if it will stay @ that. I thought since it was so cheap I was going to have cobble it together. NOPE! All the hardware was there, EVERYTHING!

The air intake has nothing to do with the clutch.

I disagree about the clutch pressure. This is my second one on a Tacoma and I am experiencing the same thing again.

bummer, I feel bad for you. I will take a picture of mine to prove I have it. It has cleaned up my engine bay to. Took off some unnecessary plastic.

I say we get things for our rigs while we can because things are only going to go up, up, and literally away. I'm getting brake parts and other stuff while I can and just putting them away for when replacement necessitates .

2-3 MPGs and and less tension on the clutch? Ha! Not a chance.

Your truck comes with cold air intake stock.

Intakes on modern vehicles are for noise only, if you are lucky you will get a slightly better throttle response, that’s it.

The intake in that link that you provided, should be called a warm air intake as it’s sucking warm air from your engine bay…

Your clutch is lighter? I think all that “cold air” is making you lightheaded.

+2-3 mpg and a lighter clutch? It sounds like your butt dyno needs to be recalibrated...
