    Pro+ is getting the best feedback on all trucks. Normal or lite throttle for your wants seems like the best choice.

    ECT is set for towing and a little extra. It increases the throttle and holds gears longer.

    Thanks for the quick replies everyone! Pro+ it is! Wasn’t sure if ECT was set to change between Normal and Sport or something like that.

    I sent you a PM with your requested tune.
    Lite throttle in Drive, Normal throttle in ECT.

    No, I love the Pro + on my stock truck. The normal tune is a little jumpy from the stop but it's nice to get instant acceleration when you hit the throttle for a change. You will love the new shift points and the fact that RPMs don't drop so low after shifts to lug the truck after shifting too early. Sometime you can even accelerate and pass without a downshift after the tune. It is much smoother and quieter at higher speeds. You have to floor it to ever drop from 6 to 4 after tuning. A shift to 5 will be all you need. I haven't used ECT or Sport mode since my tune.

    I haven't driven a tuned truck yet, but from all of the comments concerning throttle sensitivity in the 284 pages, this sounds like a really good suggestion.

    @TacoTater4x4.
    The only ideas I would have for a better all around tune (hint, hint) would be to have the lite throttle ect version in D, and still have my normal ect version when I select ect.

    What is your opinion be of how the ETC would behave with the normal throttle towing a 4k pound boat? I will only be towing it 4-5 times a year and the occasional u-haul trailer.

    @trilogymac

    I’ll be testing the hybrid tune Kreg made me last night today. I’ll certainly report back my impressions.

    As far as towing goes, you’ll probably like the more sensitivity with the added weight. The only reason the throttle hits a bit harder (in my case anyhow) is because I am an unloaded truck with no extra weight.

    You will be happy with any of the throttle versions of the tune. Just be sure to have whoever tunes your truck let you try each of the throttle versions. Your personal preference is what’s important to your driving enjoyment. :)

    When you tow the U-Haul trailer, I would start in Drive, see how it feels, then go to ECT if needed. It all depends on how heavy the load is. For a really heavy load, you can use SMode-4 or SMode-5 along with ECT. But for a light load or empty trailer, Drive is fine, especially with the KDMax tune.

    Think I'll make a move and schedule a date with my local tuner for the Pro+ upgrade from Pro. Normal sounds attractive for my stock truck. Working on torque performance upgrades next? Pro Platinum would be the obvious next level tune!
    Great work guys. Keep it up!

    I’ve tried both PRO normal and PRO + normal on stock 2019 OR DCSB AT with only rear steel bumper…I stayed on PRO. The + holds the gear too long for me but it’s great when the truck was loaded with stuff and pulling some weight. For DD the PRO is more than enough. Or I should say, PERFECT! If you can, try each for at least 3 full tanks…
    @TacoManOne took care of me!

    My experience as well. As a result, I’ll be staying with my Pro, normal, w/custom shift points. I mentioned to Kreg that my Pro tune was “perfect” but was curious if Pro+ could make it better :crazy:. He suggested I try out Pro+ for “fun and science” and I discovered that Pro+ doesn’t shift where I think it should. So, thanks @PapaRee , I’ll stick with my custom Pro while I appreciate the opportunity to try out the Pro+.

    Just curious, did the Pro + shift sooner or later than your custom tune? What gear shift bothered you the most, 3rd to 4th?
