Hope you visit us in Kona , Hawaii.
Home of the International Billfish Tournaments.
One fishing reports 63 one thousand pound marlins have been caught in Hawaii. Not sure how old this report is.

My son and his friends will go out couple of times a month. Looking for Ahi, Mahi Mahi, Ona, marlins, Aku.
    Plus bottom fishing.

    My self a shoreline fisherman.

Funny story, A guy move to Hawaii , got a boat and install a depth finder, 900 feet. Turn around and told the Marine shop the depth finder doesn’t work? Because the water around us can go to 3,000 feet deep. A 900 feet depth recorders will not work.
    Aloha

There is a State facility that runs a two mile pipe , reaching the depths at 3,000 feet. They say it takes 3000 years for the surface water to reach the bottom of the ocean.

A couple of water bottle companies , will desalinated the water, bottle it. In Japan they will sell these a liter of water for over $20+ because the Japanese people consider this a healthy water .
    Aloha
