Other than the new packages, having dual-climate control across all trims with V6 will be standard.

For the 16 - 19 models, I believe getting the tech package gave you the dual-climate feature. Then they decide to split the TP by adding "advanced tech package" and "premium".

would I like to have dual climate? yes, I feel a little cheated out of it for the 22 model, but only because it was most likely a placebo effect for my wife. She's always cold and I want to live in an igloo.

Did the dealer tell you, you can order one?

You can't, you absolutely cannot place an order. That is not how Toyota works. Toyota allocates builds and they tell the dealers what they're getting, not the other way around.

You need to cast a wide net and call multiple dealers with what you want. I avoided dealers with markups and dealer addons. Some were just on a call list and others had $500 refundable deposits. After about 3 weeks and 18 dealers contacted, One dealer had one of my 3 colors choices, but the exact options I wanted and called me to let me know and I placed a deposit to claim it as pre-sold. It should be ready for me to pick up at the end of this month. The 3 other dealers where I had deposits, I called back and they refunded.

 

I though they'd bring back the the 4.0 "truck" motor that we here so much about

 

There should have been a Gold package. Dealers woyld have probably doubled the market adjustment.

SR5 SX, hope Toyota retains the black pices on the interior, instead of the SR5 chrome, but it will probably be chrome.
