Can anyone tell me how I can verify the water pump I removed from my 2005 Toyota Tacoma access is actually bad before I put in the new water pump?

If the birds nest doesn't mesh correctly with the coaxial gear lobe, then you're probably using the wrong dandruff shampoo.

    1. Is it leaking?

    2. Does it spin with just a bit of resistance?

    3. Does it make a noise when spinning?

It was leaking but when I was removing it the bottom bolts were not very tight.
    Wasn't making noise no.
And yes it turns with a little bit of resistance.
