I am working on one of my rigs that uses a dana20. Two of these bolts are missing (fell out because I didn't use loctite)

The thread pitch is 5/16 fine, the pictures should explain the rest of what I need. I'm having trouble finding the exact head and not a 12pt. Bur I'll replace all 4 and use 12pt if I have to.

Any help is appreciated, even the name of this style fastener would help out.

Changed all drain plugs to Dimple Magnetic plugs UNI filter on air pump
Try Granger's if there is one near you.

    Second choice is Fastenal.

Try scrolling through rockauto online… I put in a Jeep YJ but they’re too small, would be part of a u-joint strap and bolt kit. Put in a vehicle you think would use it, like whatever the diff was out of. Look under driveline, then scroll down to u-joint and you should see it.
Also, loctite or not, they don’t usually move once tight, so check your yoke for any looseness on the u-joint cap, and change the straps.

Edit, I tried an 80s suburban, looks pretty close…

Just get a flange bolt and grind down the flange head, you’ll have exactly what you need. I don’t recall seeing something like that on a COTS product.

Wow that was fast, you guys are great. I learned alot about flanged bolts today. Thanks for the help.

I'm trying to get ready for memorial weekend, there is a big event in the Nevada desert.

Still need to swap out a broken axle shaft, beef up the stereo a little more and swap the tires.

I usually use driveline specialties, I should have called them on Friday. They made a couple of beefy drivelines, they've had serious abuse and keep on trucking.

It's a socket head cap screw. You can spec out exactly what you want and quickly find it with McMaster.

Thank you. I ended up ordering a kit from a bronco specialty shop. Came with new u joint u bolts as well. Good stuff to keep as spares, the rig is almost done. Just need to finish cleaning up wiring
