Don’t worry i did my search and i know that there are a lot of posts about CAI and what brands are better than other.

I would like to know if anyone has installed a TRD CAI and what they have noticed. I had an '09 that i installed a K&N77 and magnaflow exhaust on and i averaged 16MPG. Now with my '11 i am averaging 13-14MPG and i want to install a new CAI and am debating which brand.

Also has any one simply just removed the secondary filter and used a drop in performance filter ? if so what were your results?

    Thanks Schwartz

+1.. thats what ive been reading about when i searched all the CAI recommendations and results..... however, i might just spend that $$ for that cool look and cool whooosh noise ><... isnt that the whole purpose of "personalizing" ur car? hahah[IMG]

maybe its just me and hopeful thinking... but i really do feel a slight difference in throttle response.. bought the truck brand spankin new with 3 miles and took the 2nd air filter out at around 300 miles...

but yes..save money! haha and spend on things to protect ur car.. im saving up for wet okole :D

    Thanks for the feedback.

Taco what do you regret about removing the secondary air filter?
