(this was first posted in new member forum, but I was directed to post here)

Costco recently had a sale on Michelin X LT A/S.
On the last day of the sale I ordered a set of both 265/70R16 and 265/70R17 knowing I would be returning one based on whatever wheel choice I made.

I have narrowed my wheel choices down to the following:
16" TRD PRO Matte Black. Part number PT9463520002 data link: https://tinyurl.com/trdpro16
17" TRD Matte Black. part number: PTR2035110BK data link: https://tinyurl.com/trdpro17 (I would prefer to go with these as I like the look quite a bit better)

To reiterate, both of these wheels will be outfitted with the previously mentioned Michelin tires noted here:
    265/70R16

    265/70R17
    https://tires.costco.com/Product?It...t-a/s&partno=08573&width=265&aspect=70&rim=17

I've been lapping the internet trying to figure this out and not coming up with a definitive answer. Basically with gas prices seemingly going up every day, gas pricing has become more and more important. Will going with the 17" wheel/tire combo be detrimental to gas mileage?
