To be fair to her, I'm sure Derek spun it as "everyone else fault" to his wife. Hard to play victim though when the proof is this damning.

I would 100% agree with this from the impression I got from talking to Derrick on the phone before I got my sliders.

Its happened in the past at least twice that Ive seen, as owners/managers came in here to defend their assholishness to the mob. It always ends the same way. A couple pages of popcorn-watching dumpster shit-show, followed by thread locks and perma-bans.

Or in other words, nothing of substance, just a couple pages of entertainment for those not involved.

    ...

I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s an Onlyfans page to go with that.

If that's the case then why is their website still up and running and you can still place an order there. :notsure:

My guess it that it is more complicated than you think to take it down.
I don't expect that Derek is actually the webmaster. I expect that he's paying someone to manage the website. He has to send them a request, which they will receive during business hours and will process when they get to it.

I am rather confident that he could reach out to the hosting co and have them take down the site extremely quickly... IF... He wanted to

Buuuut I mean why would he when there's still money to be made

If the webmaster takes 6 months to "get to it", they should probably go out of business too. It takes 10 seconds for the guy to make a social media post, or set an auto reply email for any new orders, assuming you're correct and he has no control over his own business.

There's clearly no evidence of this, anywhere in the numerous threads on TW, right?
I mean, it's almost like earlier today, in this thread I didn't say...

I wasn't arguing with you, I was continuing the point you were making. The business is obviously not very well managed, and the website still allowing orders confirms your point.

No worries, I admittedly probably didn't choose the best wording. Moral of the story, good or bad intentions aside, businesses shut down when they take money and don't deliver product. If you can't control your website or halt incoming orders, you CAN be proactive and send emails/make social media posts. Honesty goes a long way. Sucks for the guy.

I run a commercial website, as a business owner there’s NO way he doesn’t have the passwords to it, even if he is/was paying someone else to manage it. And it’s as easy as maybe 3 clicks to turn off commerce, and probably 5 clicks to deactivate the site. And only a phone call away to have the host take it offline. There’s absolutely NO reason the website should be taking orders still.

they were posting blog entries for a while to it, which leads me to believe they have access and ability to modify the site.

This post actually lays out what we need to do in order to get some traction with our refunds. After my conversations with the local and Chadwick’s PD it appears we are SOL unless we are going to organize ourselves like they did in the quoted post.

If anyone here has been denied a refund from their financial institution and is looking to get their money back send me a dm. I would be willing to set up a post similar to this to document our claims.
