I'm trying to put together a list of the specialty tools needed to work on a 3rd Gen. This link has a pretty vast list for the 2nd Gen, I suppose most of these will carry over to the 3rd Gen. But does anyone have specifics on the more specialty tools? I.e. the sockets/wrenches larger than 21mm, the torx, and other one off tools you'll likely have to buy on their own?

    Thanks.

Besides the Toyota specific oil filter wrench, there's nothing used on the Tacoma I'd consider a specialty tool. They're all tools any complete toolbox should have. It's not like it's got a Dana 60.

You can fix half your truck with a 10mm wrench.
