3rd GEN BARCELONA RED TACOMAS!!

Looks good, the more I see bronze wheels with the red the more I think I need just to break down and buy a set... lol

Hey, what side steps are those that you're running?

 

any rubbing with the 265?, im thinking of doing the same with 275/70

 

I was afraid they might be too light bronze/gold looking based on some pics. But they aren't at all. I'm really happy with them. The steps are aluminum N-Fab Predators. They are similar to the tacoma steps. Maybe don't stick out/down quite as much.

 

The closest my tires come to rubbing when fully turned is about 1/2 inch. I don't think 275/70 would be a problem. You might have to remove the front mud flaps. Or bend some plastic on the front of the wheel well.

Do you mind sharing what's your tire size? Man, I'm really considering going for a Tacoma TRD Pro wheels over SEMA wheels. We almost have the same truck LOL

 

Did you go 265/70 or 265/65 on these? Running stock height?

It took me some time to love the Barcelona Red color, but now I can’t imagine any other color!

The tires are BFG KO2’s A/T 265/75/16…

The Sport came with 17” inch wheels but I really wanted the 16” to give the appearance of even bigger tires. I also have the TRD Lift so there’s enough clearance and no rubbing whatsoever.

 

Never had a red vehicle before and I too can't imagine having any other color of Taco.

Did you mean 265/75/16? I'm getting close to 36K so I'm starting to save and prepare for more mods.

Wait I Just noticed you have black instead of chrome in your tail lights. 2022 comes with those now? I'm jealous.

I purchased the Pro Taillights - Nightshade Edition. So unfortunately they did not come with the ‘22 but am very happy with them, $250 later!

 

Cool! Thanks man! I hate how Toyota thought we'd enjoy more chrome in our tail lights. SMH. How much did you end up paying for TRD lift and installation? I was only planning to switch out the front suspension to 5100 and level it.

 

It was pricy... but I did my best. I bought the parts for $1173 no tax (plus $100 to ship) and the dealership charged me $1200 to install. The parts included the Pro Grill which is amazing! I bought these Barcelona Red caps from @tacos4cheap on Etsy that go right over the letters. It is truly a beautiful truck!
