    I've been on the search for a Tacoma for a while as a second vehicle. 2 weeks ago I bought a 98 SR5 3.4l 4x4 w/TRD. It's an automatic (first for me) which I'm not a big fan of, but I'm not driving the truck for sport. :) I'm basically going through normal maintenance now, cleaning up the truck, and finding a few "Easter eggs" that the previous owner has left me. I'll be posting a few of those down the road.

    I've driven Miatas (92 and 97) for over 10 years and enjoyed modifying and driving them. Though I bought the truck almost exclusively for utility, after only a dozen or so days of ownership I can already see myself modifying it as I did my Miatas.

    I have 151k on the clock right now and I'm hoping for another 5-7 years of hauling Craigslist finds, building materials, and getting to work no matter the conditions. :)
