    Correct.
SPDT switch with separate illumination is what you'll need.

You have to unclip the stock harness from the white clip holding it in place. I have 2 harnesses on mine too and I was able to do it fine.

Thanks for the response:)Sounds like I am aiming to have the same setup as you, got the grab handle, V5, footwells on order, and waiting for switch to be in stock. So you have it wired like the diagram from Dkota. with the switch mounted in between Vled splitter and Meso splitter I assume?

Yes. From what I can remember there is really only one way to connect the splitters as they have different size connectors. (I believe the puddle splitter connectors are smaller) I quickly looked at the instructions but didn’t bother too much as once I removed the A pillar, it made sense how everything should connect. Maybe @kmorgan3 can chime in?

I can’t recall the wires that MESO/DSIM pulled in their harness, so what is VLED pulling additional?
    They have 5 wires, correct?

That’s right. If you want to run the MESO switch for the puddle pods you can place it in between the MESO side of my splitter and the beginning of the MESO harness.

The tee harness that comes with the footwell lights will work for the puddle pods but the tee harness that comes with the puddle pods will not work with the footwell lights. The footwell tee has a 5-pin connector and they have a splitter that has a 4-pin connector for the puddle pods and the other side is a 5-pin connector (only 4 wires) that connects down to the footwell controller.

Thanks Gang! I got it. Just have to be patient and wait for the footwells and meso switch to get in stock. In the meantime, I found some SCS SR8’s and now time to shop for rubber :)

Quick question, where did this clip come from doing the puddle install?? Not a door clip since it doesn't have a gasket. Not the foot well clip either, those are slanted

I believe it could also be from a kick panel.

I meant to say kick panel not foot well. I think the kick panel only has two and they're slanted clips. I will inspect again in the morning.

You can’t take the kickpanel off without removing the door sill… so that’s possible too.. don’t recall what those look like…

Welp, i got 9 all on one side. It appears different than the door panel clips though. Will tear down the other side door just to be sure.

Both door panels are a no go wth lol. Each one has all 9 clips. Kick panel has it's two and the door sill doesn't have any but I don't think it's supposed to

Is there a story behind the nail polish?
