I know this is random but y’all seem more mechanically inclined then me…

driving home from work on the freeway today a black bag flew under my truck and when I got home to unwrap it from the passenger wheel I noticed some oil/grease.

y’all think bad cv boot or something? Thankfully should be covered under warranty

Should be able to just quickly inspect the cv boot for any tears. Does look like grease on there wipe it down and inspect

Alright I’ll wipe it down tomorrow and check. Is that essentially the only reason it would leak is from a tear? I’ve only had her for like 3 months and haven’t really done any wheeling

Considering no grease or oil on the ends can't be a loose clamp its a good place to start looking to pin point where that's coming from

Definitely looks like cv boot tear. That's greasy not oily. Boot almost looks like it's falling off. Hard to tell with those pics. Get under there and wipe the boot clean and inspect it. Use the other side for a reference if your not familiar with what your looking at.
