    Morning all!
After yesterday's rain it cooled of really nice. So last night all the windows in the house were open.

Then just a short time ago closed all of them and flipped the switch for the central air! It's supposed to be a scorcher for a few days.

No air conditioning here! We love the heat!!!

I got the pool going yesterday - 120lbs of salt & a little Ph adjustment and it started making its own chlorine. Heater on so we should be swimming today!

Nice and for 10K not too shabby. We had a new roof put on 4 years ago. I had a lot of extra work done so the cost was higher. Home is now cooler in the summer in warmer and the winter. Air flow from the soffit to the ridge vent is a major part of having the roof do it's job to keep the house warm and cool.

Today is laundry day and an outing to the Bowie Baysox game tonight. The plumber was out on time yesterday and fixed both problems.

    Morning all.
Pee Soup fog followed by Swamp Azz heat and humidity later.
Got all the yard stuff done yesterday.
Planning on pulling the instrument panel out of the Nova, replace the original gas gauge and see how many of those 194 light bulbs I need to replace in the dash.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Mowing got done, and some putz. Put off getting under the truck, one more time. But, that's for this morning. Drop the sway bar, nutsert a replacement in the frame, and put in new bushings. Before it gets real hot. We are supposed to have some actual "weather"; starting tonight. And a cool down.
Yesterday, before the burgers there was thunder,

    and lightning,

and 0.02" that was over in 3 minutes.

I was just going to ask if your Nova was a '71. I see in your signature it's a '72. Reminds me I need to enter my vehicles in my profile if I haven't already.

Nice Chevy! My second car was a '71 Nova, basic 250cid 6 and Powerglide. Same transmission as my first car, a '67 Chevy Caprice. I had to replace the transmission in the Caprice for (as the Rainman would say) about a hundred dollars. That is actually how much Aamco charged back in 1976.

Today going to the local auto parts store to get some spare fuses for my 2007 Tacoma that I got a week ago. There are a couple spares in the fuse box cover, but would feel better having more on hand. I have many of the larger style blade and glass fuses, none of what the Tacoma takes. I think they're called Mini fuses?

The only thing I have regretted about getting the Gas Buddy app running, is the daily email about prices!:eek::eek:

How to get 99 miles per gallon of gas:

Drive 18, ride 81. My neighbor complained about the price of gas, and looked at me when I said "I hadn't noticed."

It still snuck up to 100* while I was lounging on the driveway, but.....

Bumper mounts chopped and painted up. Thanks to a couple friends who passed this tool on - I have used this infrequently, but for everything I have - it was irreplaceable!

Got the nutsert installed where our nut had disappeared. And marked it since it's a different thread pitch.

And, got the new bushings on. Since I'm having the spring work done June 2, I didn't mess with any adjustments.

Too HOT for this stuff, but I'm done!

No solar here - have too many trees to make solar worth it... I do like the lighter colors for that reasoning.

I like the heat when outside. I like COOL when inside!!!!

Not so concerned with the heat, but anything to help with the cooling is gratefully appreciated.
