    Hello Tacoma World

Just sharing my experience in replacing my 2016 Trd Sport Transmission oil. I suspected my Transmission fluid was low since I had repaired a leak on the one of the oiler cooler lines, and was getting some shuddering and once in a while the famous torque converter slip when cornering or braking suddenly. I only got 2.25 qts after draining, removing the pan and replacing the filter. I add 3.75 qts if lucas oil semi synthetic Transmission fluid. Magnets in the pan was extremely clean very very small amount of metal filings. Experience after the change was a very smooth shift with no noticeable shudder or grinding. Thought I share my experience.

I also find that while draing the fluid if you jack up the front slight you get more oil out of the pan.

Nice. When I dropped the pain on mine at 70k miles, there was a fair amount of clutch material on the magnets. In the pic, top two magnets were the same as bottom two before cleaning. How many miles u at?

Wow that's a lot. I have a 152k miles on the truck. I bought it with 145k, not sure if was changed prior.

Honestly it doesn't seem like you can actually do a full fluid change at home. I have decided to run mine until it drops.

That's true a complete flush require some tools. I just did a filter change and whatever oil came out I replaced.

    Truck is running very smooth
