I'm starting to get serious about some mods for my Taco. I'm probably capable of doing them myself (if I stretch myself a bit), but I'm not in a logistical position to do them. (No garage, tools, etc., plus I'm an old guy with creaky bones and stuff.)

I'm primarily thinking about front bumper and winch, rear bumper, and maybe lift/ suspension upgrade (for the weight), and the needle bearings. I have not ordered anything yet, so I will of course be dealing with lead time issues.

Looking for a reputable shop in the Augusta GA area. I'm not opposed to someplace within a radius of 2-3 hours, as I can drag my motorbike there and leave the truck (as long as they don't mind me dropping my trailer there for the duration).

Most won’t do the needle bearing but pizza and beer will get you a long way! The majority of that work can be done in your driveway!

@ahspurlock is the go to guy for many in SC for things we don’t want to do ourselves! He’s in Summerville about a 2hr trek from Aiken.

Like I said, logistics. "Home" for me is New Mexico, where I have a house on a foundation, a driveway, a garage, and a full set of tools. I work in Aiken and live in an RV, so my "driveway" here is sandy soil. Yeah, I'll use that excuse instead of the getting old one.....

    Summerville is do-able.
