So these just replace the jam nut and have a sleeve attached to them? How much does that actually help?

It intrigues me, but I'm skeptical.

@WarFab Armor any insight into possible compatibility with 2000-2006 Tundra? I assume this is 2005+ Tacoma only for now?

Photo of 2002 Tundra outer tie rods. Maybe beefier than Tacoma?

So how does shipping to Canada work with this? I'd like to join the group buy, if shipping isn't ridiculous.

Definitely beefier. According to AutoZone tie rods from Tacos are not compatible with 1st gen Tundras.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Is that before or after they asked if it was 2wd or 4wd when buying windshield wipers?

Any idea if they'll work with Moog aftermarket tie rods?
Replaced my original ones due to high miles/age

couldn't help but notice the Moog upped the size to 24mm locknut and 15mm shaft adjuster
I feel like one of these measurements was smaller (maybe the 24) on the factory part

reinforcement sleeves didn't exist at the time and I was just trying to rebuild the front end/replace worn parts so I didn't take a close look at what the difference may be regarding dimensions of factory vs. popular/common replacements

went with Moog after hearing decent quality reviews + cheaper than dealer parts
