As long as you kept it maintained; I've heard these engines go through head gaskets...

A few years ago, I met a guy who swapped a 3400 into a 1991 T4R; The guy who owns this red truck says it's faster than any 22R truck he's ever driven...

It does bring back memories. I had a truck just like this through most of high school and college. Sure wish I had kept it.

I saw this gem at a car show at the Red Mill Museum Village; It is a "Mini-Cruiser" obviously based on a 1986 Toyota 1-ton cab/chassis, and I initially thought it was a Dolphin, but the woman who owns it corrected me. The owner is an older woman who bought it from the original owner in 2016, after her husband died; The truck had just 22K original miles on it when she bought it for just $6,000. It now has about 60K miles on it; She drives it! She's drive it coast to coast and numerous places in between, and though it's incredibly slow, it's got a 22R and is just as reliable as you would expect! ENJOY!

The truck does have working A/C that has been converted to R134a, but a blower motor has gone bad after nearly 40 years and the A/C is rather weak at the moment; There is not A/C in the camper part...

Aftermarket cruise control that has does not work; In typical Toyota truck fashion, this one doesn't have intermittent wipers...

I have peeked through the windows of numerous Toyota campers over the years, but I don't remember much about them, like whether or not they had features like power windows and intermittent wipers; This one is built on a fairly basic truck. It does not have intermittent wipers, and in this picture you can see it does not have digital clock that would normally be located to the right of the HVAC controls...
