I have a 3rd gen Taco and just put 285/70r17’s with the TRD sema pro wheels with +4OS. I have an Eibach Stage 1 set to top notch lifting it 2.5” front and 1” rear. No rubbing at all. Wanting to add 1.25” spacers to give it a wider stance. Will this cause me to rub

Most likely you’re already rubbing by adding 285s (maybe not just standing there, but at Full lock, reverse, full compression).

Adding 1.25” spacers will maybe solve rubbing at one place, but start rubbing at another.

In my experience with my truck… added the spacers to avoid the tire rubbing with the Upper control arm (it was very close), but then it rubbed with the cab mount.

You can maybe get away with it by doing a good alignment, but fitting 285s is not plug-n-play unless you just drive it on the road.

    Hope this helps.
