Hey y’all, I picked up this commercial truck cap from marketplace for $100. Has some issues that I’m gonna fix before use, but my main concern is figuring out how to mount it to my truck. This was built for a 1998 Nissan Frontier. I purchased it from a gentleman who had it on his 1st gen Tacoma. I’ve now bought it to use on my 2nd gen Tacoma. Lines up by measurements just fine and would definitely bolt into the top of my bed rails fine, but I’m trying to avoid that. Y’all have any ideas on how to go about modifying it’s mounting apparatus to allow for mounting to the Tacoma’s bed rail mounting system? It’s an aluminum cap, not fiberglass. Thanks in advance!
