So sorry to hear. Like others, both my parents went the way of cancer.

You might want to consider how to use the time you have left with her in a way that won’t leave you thinking to yourself, “I should have….”. This has helped me tremendously in the years since.

I think the sooner you can make arrangements and get down there the better.
I had a co-worker encouraged me to go and pay both a cousin and an Aunt visits when their times were near. It's always a difficult time but it's good to have a visit....when my cousin told me goodbye, I said that I can't say goodbye, but just tell you I love you.

 

We're going to get the same over the next couple of days.

Sometimes here at work they just to death. I got another assignment to do weekly and I told the Superintendent straight out, you need to assign this to others so that everyone can feel the pain. There are certain rules here that some people attitudes are such that, something's dumb so they scoff at it and are part of the problem. So instead they give it to someone like me who understands and abides by the rules, to go and police up after those who don't give a
What kind of sense does that make?

 

different situation but...Reminds me of my active duty days, one superviser tried to make me go pick up cigarette butts by the smoking area. I told him nope! I dont smoke or ever use the smoking area so you need to go find a smoker and get him to pick them up. He was mad but knew i was right.

 

Just got back from Belle Tire having the Michilan tires on my Tundra balanced and rotated.

Kinda amazed I've got 70k miles on a set. I think they have been rotated once before.

I still think there is 15k miles left. Crazy amazed!
