Continuing this project. The kit is very well designed and fitment has been great. Plenty of room at full bump with 35”s. Only a little bit of trimming up front was needed to avoid rubbing at bump/lock.

I’m taking my time on this to make everything fit right and fully cycling the suspension. I’ll be adding hydros this week or next weekend while everything is apart.

    Yes
don’t forget to trim a little extra as Harry has warned us about he is seeing trucks flex 3/4” + past full bump

This. And it looks like your tires are wore. First time I tubbed I went with about an inch clearance all the way around. It wasn’t enough. This time I going closer to 2”

How much you trim off the front depends on how far forward you end up going. On trucks that I go the full 1 7/8” forward I completely cut off the bracket that mounts the lower part of the grill.

This SUA kit sure cycles beautifully. Pulling 16” from bump to droop which is about the same as my archive setup, however the uptravel gain is ridiculous. H70HD’s also seem like they will be just about perfect. Going to tub out my bed to make room for the 37’s when articulated and it’s a solid wrap back here. May end up changing the bump can gussets as I’m not sure I like them. But for now that can wait.

Looking good! It does look like you could mount the bumps up a little higher to squeeze another inch of travel out of it however I’m guessing the 37’s will be into the bed tub pretty badly.

I really like the H70HD springs for the weight carrying capacity, the only down side is they don’t drop out as much (about one inch)

My bump striker pads are only 3/8" from frame contact with around 1/2" of shock shaft remaining. Its pretty tight under there. Zero tire contact even with the axle pushed into the frame. Under articulation is a different story though.

A combination of covid material prices coming down and the new tooling we have have has greatly reduced cost.

Its funny, I can see the second largest Iron mine in America right from the shop. And were still paying triple the price on all steel. Been zero price drops here.

out of curiosity, is this temporary pricing, or anticipated pricing going forward?

I need to finish paying for a wedding before truck stuff, although this is dangerously tempting.

Also, has anyone found the replacement front radiator supports for 3rd gens as a single piece? Every time I go looking for them I see it's all the separate parts vs the 2nd gens which seem to ship as one piece.

So I get it this is a Tacoma page… would y’all make any of this stuff for 5th gen 4Runners? I have several guys that want the LT and the inner fenders, and lower pivots. Sorry if this has been asked before.

Pretty sure the LT and lower pivots work on the 5th gen 4 runners

I thought the upper ball joint was different, not a super hard fix to swap a ball joint if that’s all it is but not sure if that’s the only thing.

The 4Runner upper ball joint stud is slightly longer, but it doesn't make a difference for the JD arms which have a long enough stud for either Tacoma or 4Runner, so they do fit, no issues.
