Same here with the oem cover. Yeah its heavy and has some very minor seepage when it rains hard, but nothing to get excited about as 99% of the bed inside stays dry.
I've had snow blowers to large ac units in the bed with the cover still in place, just folded as far as it goes. I've had it off to for bigger stuff also. 1 bolt basically locks it in place.

I've had the Bakflip MX4 since a couple weeks after getting my truck and have no real complaints. Recently even mounted a track rail on top to make transporting my mountain bike easier. Combined with the OEM tailgate lock, hard to go wrong - I feel comfortable leaving things in there and even in the rain and going through the carwash, everything stays mostly dry.

Will say the same. Originally was hunting for an OEM or Backflip, but wasn't able to snag one at a decent price. Stumbled on an open box Tyger on Facebook for $70....figured would be a short term stop gap, but is better than imagined and has held up well that I haven't bothered to look again for a hard cover.

I had a Tyger tri-fold vinyl cover on my 2018. Picked up for $240 I believe. Easy to install, connected right into the channels for tie downs on the side rails. Easy to take off as well.

Not as good as the OEM hard tri-fold I have on my 2021 but for the price the Tyger held up good while I had it.

Backflips are top notch. Semi secure and look good with the low profile

I ordered the MX4 today. I went to the Bakflip site and chatted with an agent regarding best price. Gave me 10% off their list price.

I had a diamondbak before I put a cap on... It was really nice, although a huge pain in the ass if you wanted to carry anything that wouldnt fit under it.

For those of you who have an OEM tonneau, it seems that the bed caps are different than the stock ones. There are more than a few OEM tonneaus in my area for good prices and was wanting to pick one up for my 2022 TRD OR that is coming this month. I am see a lot of comments like the one below. Anyone have an picts of the "cover option"? Please feel to school me if needed.

"your truck has to have the bed cover option for this to work correctly, bed has molded in mounts for this cover to attach to and lock"

Update. Went with the BakFlip MX4. Happy with the quality and how flush it sits. Easy to istall as well.
