Hey everyone! I wanted to thank everyone for helping me out to finally get this done. I had the UCA's and leafs swapped back to stock OEM, and the front 6112s lowered to the 4/3 setting giving me about an inch lift upfront now. Also downsized to wildpeaks (SL rated) 265/70r17. I'm not sure how I feel about the front height, I might go to 3/2 so it has some rake to it as I never really loved the level look. What do you guys think? Overall, I'm happy as the ride is smoother and less harsh, and now I can try and save on a little MPG as well.

Also, I've attached pics of the rear leafs install, just wanting to make sure it all looks good. This is a reputable shop that does a lot of tacos, so I'm assuming so.

The leafs were bought off a member here that had only ~1k miles on them before he did his lift. I am coming from Dakars, so wanted to make sure these leafs look good? They seem a little flat and even negative arched/dipped over the axle a tad but from what I've read this is normal for stock leafs. I went to the 'yota dealer and the OE leafs on 2 other tacos looked just like these.

Oh and do the ubolt/mounting plates look good? 2 of the bolts seem to be showing more thread which would imply they didn't torque it all down quite evenly, but not sure if that matters? It's not way off or anything. My thrust angle on my alignment sheet was -0.01. Either way, I'm assuming I have a successful install here and thanks to everyone who helped out!

P.S., yes... I need to clean my struts and get some rust cleaning under there!

I think for your setup you would be happy on a 2/1 setup on the 6112s. I recently upgraded/rebuilt my front suspension and have my 6112s set on a 2/1 for lots of comfort less lift with 5100 and oem trd leafs. Love the ride, Im also in CT, so I know how the roads hurt. I will be getting new uca at some point since I have 145k on the oem. Once I get the uca, I will go up to a 3/2 setting and an aal.
Those are my last suspension part to upgrade.

Looks good to me, but those rear shocks look like they're leaking.

Honestly should of kept stock control arms I just put new upper and lower ball joints in at 158k mi and feels great. I do have rough country 6" lift with adjustable coils . I have my stock springs with 2" aal and a 1.5" aal . Toyota made pretty strong upper and lower control arms

Are you talking about the muck around the end of the strut body? I think that’s just road muck and fluid film residue. I told the guys at the shop to check them out when swapping out my leafs and they said they were fine.

Yeah talking about those oil marks at the bottom of each shock body. Could be fluid film I suppose, but they look similar to the way my Bilsteins looked when they completely blew out on my Jeep.

Yeah, but all 4 shot out at about 50-60k highway miles? Doesn’t make sense. The guys that installed checked them and said they seemed ok

I hate to be "that guy", but this whole thread is a perfect example of buy the truck, drive it and leave the friggin' thing stock! Nothing but massive extra expense and massive problems.

Save yourselves now before you're in the same boat!

They did actually (well 2 of them - had OME in the front). Who knows...maybe my measurements were off for full length and I was topping them out constantly. Didn't feel like it though.
