How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

No, just the tech package. Dealer asked me what I wanted on my Tacoma and at the time didn’t want to spend extra $ on a full camera system. I had it on my trade and really only used the 360 camera system once.

Purchase went well. They honored the original trade in value quote after a little back and forth. 15 years since my last MT. Im happy I was able to locate the exact build I wanted.

 

One dealer kept trying to sell me on a "nice 2019 with ONLY 20,000 miles" when I told him repeatedly I only wanted new - didn't end up buying from them.

 

Am I the last "week 13" build that hasn't got his truck yet? Sheesh! Apparently still at Logistics Park...

 

Hey good evening. Just joined as I'm beyond frustrated with the dealership hoping somebody might be able to provide some insight. I have a deposit for an allocation that shows a build date of 4/20 and as of the last update it showed as processing for departure. That was May 3rd, the last response from the salesperson. I've been out of town for work so I haven't been able to make the impact I need to. That being said this is all the information I have attached. Is there any help to make sense of this, seems like the right place. And thanks in advance for any help you guys provide, been in the car scene a long time and I like to contribute and share knowledge.

 

Was that Woburn Toyota? Had a girls there on Sat tell me 5k was normal these days…Dealership in Lancaster wanted 5k over for a sinus infection green pro and Boch south offered me a deal at 2k over MSRP but there truck was already 2k higher then Lancaster?????
Best one was Canobie lake Toyota in Salem who tried to low ball my trade by $3800…2 other dealers and carvana where $3500 to 4K higher in trade…Stay far far away from that dealership

 

Koch wanted $2000 over MSRP, got them to meet me 1/2 way at $1000 over MSRP...I figure been searching for what I want for 2 months with 7 dealers, and nothing...so Koch finally had one on order, and I got a good deal and trade in value

 

That’s Lancaster dealer I was talking about. Listed a Pro at MSRP around 51k and a market adjustment to 56+k…so maybe it’s just a pro thing

 

We'll, finally got my window sticker emailed to me. Ordered 3/8 from a 6% under invoice dealer in TN. Once it arrives I'll have two weeks to pick her up.

I reserved a double cab short bed trd off road on 5/4. It was loaded on the train the same day. Arrived at the logistics park 5/18. Just got the call from the dealer that it arrived on the lot today. Going to pick it up Thursday morning. Paid msrp.

Gotcha. That definitely sucks. Yeah in my experience a dealer tried to say that since that used Tacoma is certified pre-owned with that warranty, it'll cost me less in the long run. I didn't get that, it doesn't make sense to me, and I am only interested in buying new. It was listed for more than MSRP anyways.

I did the same. I did not give them business.

 

Doors opened 3 times today!! Hood was opened and the tire pressure dropped to 32/31. Must be really close already. No gas yet so I assume it’s not at the dealer just yet.
