    Hey everyone,

Finally got a Taco 6 weeks ago. Going to Moab in 2 weeks so got it checked out to make sure it was good to drive th 1000 mile trip. Turns out the wheel bearings need to be replaced. My brother does this kinda stuff for a living so he's going to help me install the parts. I just don't know what to order. Don't want to break the bank and I also don't want to cheap out. I've heard Koyo is good but cant seem to find full hub assemblies for sale and don't trust myself get every part right to build my own.

If you have any recommendations and links to full assemblies I'd appreciate it!

Get the ones pre-pressed. In the FS section. Then it's 1-2 hours for both sides depending on how many of you are working on it at the same time.

Just make sure you buy the whole pressed in assembly. Bolts right up easy. The first time I changed mine, I tried to do just the bearing....and trying to find a shop with a 20 ton press willing to do it was a pain. Id support the tacoma world vender linked above, if you have some time to wait for shipping.

Get the Koyo one from Napa. Part number starts with ATM something. Then find someone to press it in for you. Koyo is all I buy. I replaced both rear wheel bearings on my tundra at 130k and it's now at 360k and those Koyo bearings are still as smooth as the day I bought them. And I beat the sh*t out of that truck. Same with my Honda CR-V and same with my wife's Sienna. Every single Koyo bearing I put in has outlasted the vehicle I placed them in. I wouldn't buy anything else.

FWIW, I’ve heard good things about BluePit. Expensive.

I’m sticking with tried and true assemblies from @05Taco4x4
Don’t think you can go wrong with his stuff. Nothing but good reviews on them.

Front or rear? If it's the rear I hope you're lucky enough to DIY, if it's the front I'd suggest blue pit or the taco 4x4 guy on here. If you have a press just do them yourself, they aren't very difficult, just take your time and you'll save hundreds.
