I see them pop up all the time in various conditions and I have to force my brain away from the idea that I can buy a few and use them for parts...:frusty:

Gears and overhaul kit showed up today. I am postponing having the rear done until I can get the fronts done at the same time and hopefully add a traction device.

Time to start selling stuff to help fund this questionable decision as well as selling the house and moving...

Upgraded the wipers to Bosch Icons. I like 'em. Much better than the RainX I had before.

I've tried many brands, and they never last longer than a year before streaking my windshield.

I ironically still have the factory wipers on DP.

I have tried so hard to find the OEM factory wipers, they lasted so long and were so good.
Yeah, I usually expect the same. The RainX ones were garbage right out of the package though, I was just not motivated enough to change them.

F in chat for a pre-cut ball joint boot on a brand new LCA.

Should I just send it back and get a new one sent to me, or should I mess with pressing in the nicer ball joint that I have?

Call moog and see if they'll send you a new LBJ, then press in the nice one and keep the moog as a spare.

So. Don't bother trying to press out your old ball joints. Just buy a new LCA and cam bolts. I was convinced that I was more talented and blessed than most of you knuckleheads.

    I was wrong :bananadead:

This questionable decision is a 24 hour 3D print. It happens to be one part of a project that is most definitely a larger, more questionable decision.

Eeeyyyyy, this place is still around and mostly the same, but I'm back baybeeeee!

We're settled in the new place and I finally have time to mess with truck stuff. New tires are happening as soon as I can decide which ones I want and shortly after that I'll finish the regear + traction device. I'm also still undecided on whether I want a locker or gear LSD (Torsen).

Your suggestions, recommendations, and troll-posts are welcome, but I reserve the right to end up being right.

We just got back yesterday from a vacation in CO, so here's a photo form the Aorta Mine at the head of the Bill Moore Lake trail outside of Empire:

Welcome back! LSD is meh for offroad, I'd rather have a locker myself. I'm on the fence between an E-Locker or an Air-Locker... I'll be going 4.88s at the same time (whenever I have money to do it) and just have ECGS do all the work and send back cores.
We're going out to CO in July. Gonna be fun!
