Will 3rd gen Diamondback cover fit my 2nd gen? Beds are 0.2" different

I have found a Diamondback HD cover in my city that is just what I am looking for, problem is it's for a third gen. I really dont want to pull my Camper Shell and RTT off just to test fit if someone can tell me right off that it will not fit. Anybody know? Called Diamondback and they could neither confirm or deny.

OEM 3rd gen will not fit 2nd gen. I would bet this wont either.

 

Not sure about diamondback but I fitted a 3rd Gen Undercover SE (hard cover) onto a 2nd gen. It looked like shit. The cover overhangs like 3" off the back. Horrid looking.

 

I'd be interested in that cover in you can't use it.

Was it confirmed that a 3rd Gen cover will not fit a 2nd Gen? I found a 3rd Gen Diamondback cover in my area and was wondering if it will fit my 2015.
