Sorry to hear. Our old lab been gone about 4 years or so. Didn't have cancer but some growth at his butt. We had it removed several times. The last time he didn't recover from it. That was a very expensive pet.

I made this drum a few months ago, the hardened dowel pins wore the hot rolled material along with themselves. The solution they came up with, put hardened bushings in it. I told the boss the first time they use it the bushings will wear the softer material and fall out.

There’s theory and there’s application. Prove me wrong boss man

We need to change the kool aid around here. Seems like we take 1 step forward and two steps back.

This is an original drum from Switzerland. It’s metric hex inside and has 4 rows of blades.

We made the square one and the customer said make it like we did for another customer that had 5 rows of teeth and the square inside. We made one and they didn’t say anything about it hitting the cover.

Boss man copied their cover and we had a fab shop make two. I put it in a few weeks ago and it fit great. They didn’t have the blades on though. Here’s the shaft it goes on we made and one of the new covers.

Customer just came by and said I told you it was hitting :annoyed:

They used it like this for a job

They broke the front tab off, it was held on by one 6mm bolt on the back side
