2006 Tacoma 4x4 4.0L with 169k shudders when shifting from 2nd to 3rd and I don't believe it shifts into OD. When on the Highway I can feel it shift into 4th and if I shift into 4 nothing changes. When I shift back to drive still feels the same no shift. 3000 RPMs at 75mph and no shift.

I went to Toyota and they changed my fluid $202 and it did improve a little the shudder is less and it seems to have more power, but still no OD.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

Fluid isn’t going to help your problem.
I’m betting it is valve body related.
If what you say is true. You are not in 5th.

Here is my truck in 4.
And Yes, it was in D in one of the pics.
You just have to trust me on it being in 4th. I took these while towing.

And before anyone tells me NOT to tow in 5th. I know this. So no need to waste your time telling me it. C7F42D9E-6DF5-4BB2-B27C-233FE6878294.jpg89EC8222-2BD4-4E50-B6F7-8142373C633D.jpg
