LOL... I always brag how my 13 1/2 year old Tacoma doesn't have a single rattle... then last week I developed a bad one that presented on any little bump or bounce. Driving me nuts, sounded like it was coming from the middle of the dash. So today I looked for loose stuff in the cubbies and such. Nope. Then I pulled out the glove box since I had worked on the cabin filter and blower resistor a couple weeks ago. Everything looked fine. So then I pulled out my Pioneer head unit to get at the top of the dash. Everything looked OK as far as I could see, SXM receiver firmly in place, nothing else there. So I drive it with the head unit out but still connected electrically to see if I can hear better and I am holding it in my hand. At one point I was leaning over a bit and out of the corner of my eye I see that the visor is unclipped and bouncing in time with the "rattle". Bumping into the visor mount, of course. D'oh, and LOL. One of those days. But at least I still don't have a rattle!

    nice!

I cannot stand any rattles either, it's fine when I'm along driving because I have the music blaring but when others are riding I cannot do that :)

Exactly! I didn't even notice it until I had my GF in the truck and the stereo was turned down. After that I knew it was there and it was really bothering me. There is one drive I do most Monday mornings headed south and east where I alternately get sun from the front through the windshield and driver's side window as I make turns, so I have to keep flipping it around and don't pop it back right away. I guess I left it loose and just touching the clip after one of those trips.

Can be the simplest, crazy thing. I always check the rear seatbelts first. I had a slight rattle coming from the back of the cab that was driving me nuts last fall. I went through everything. Then one day I needed something out of the bed that has a cover. Against the front of the bed was a new folding table I bought in Colorado while on vacation in August.
