technically yes, but more-so to make it one part number to do both sides by rotating it 90 degrees. Also only needs/uses one set of hardware per mount vs 2 sets and just works and fits better. Specific to the Super Pacific.

Which one needed to sets of hardware? Is this in comparison to the shittco ones? Only curious since on those you just flip it to each side but its the same part. IM all for better fitting but curious the big differences. Is this fairly low profile as well?

Well my previous ones did.. and the Shittco ones do, and others I have seen. These cut the hardware needed in half, yet provide enough material to accommodate the holes, plus add a 2nd one if needed at a different angle on that same side/orientation. They are just under 3/4".. .720" to be exact. I also really wanted a better fitting T slot nut and for it to be super user friendly.. so I made the T slot nut and I think between that and the locating boss on the backside of the mount it will make it super simple and solid and not rotate.

    I'll get some screenshots later.

Wonder how they are working it for those of us w/ factory rail mounts. Looks like those wouldn't be compatible.

Ah... I was wondering how you would keep it from twisting/rotating.

No thanks... I'd like to use the rails to mount other things inside the bed.

Me too.. we'll see how it works!

yes sir. :) Curious how they will hold up. Planning on 6061, and that spud is .085". It wont be under any crazy force and when its nice and snug with the custom nut paired with it, I think it will be just fine.

hard to capture.. but there will be 2 different options for angles per side just due to the design of the part. Rotate 90 degrees and it works for the opposite side.

Don't have my X-1 yet, but already putting together the components I need. Found a nice large capacity battery for the electrical system I'm planning. The plan is to pare this 10Ah battery with a BCDC1225D and at least 200w of solar and an Auxbeam switch panel (I have a similar Cali-raised panel already for my light bars etc. and it works great). What I really liked about this battery is the nice metal case, pre-wired anderson plug and low-temp charge cutoff.
Checked out a few reviews and they all stated that it uses "A" bin cells and the capacity is as advertised. Keeping my fingers crossed it all works out. :fingerscrossed::spending:

I exchanged texts with Spencer today and have some clarification. My brackets are "pre production" and they also put them on a Toyota for Expo. He said "All builds will be coming with these by mid June."

He said existing X1 builds will be "No cost. We will send out kits to all existing owners if they want them. But we won't be rolling that program out until later this summer. It's a lot of stock to make so we will have to roll out over time. Plan is to have all existing customers provided with new kits by the end of the year. We will make an official announcement once we are stocked with inventory and can roll out in an organized manner."

I'll see if i can take a picture at another angle and catch the back side of the bracket. Hope this helps.
