Buying a 2022 tomorrow Army Green or Lunar Rock?

IMO, Lunar rock is sort of a ladies color, I believe first introduced on the Rav4 (ladies car) not that there is anything wrong with that. AG all the way but I am a little biased

 

Tough call actually, I'd personally do lunar rock, but I love that green and both would end up looking amazing.

Lunar rock. The green is super cool, but I think I would tire of it eventually.

 

I finally seen a green one in the wild. Pics do not do that truck justice. That green looks much better in person.

 

When I first became interested in getting a Tacoma, Army Green was the TRD Pro color and I was sad about that. Then I decided to actually buy one so I obviously went with Army Green but like others have said, it's your truck get the color you want. However, if you're fine with either color just tell the dealership whichever they get first.

I think 30 day hold means you will pre-contract the truck then it will take about 30 days for it to arrive at the dealership. This is exactly what happened to me in Feb this year - signed all docs for pre-contract early Jan then truck came in on my bday of all days on 2/16/22, lol.

I originally ordered LR, but switched to red and could not be happier.

Ah man didn't realize you could get LR on non-pro models now. Dang, that's what I would have gone for if I could. Got the "fleet vehicle white", which is fine, but am jealous whenever I see red/orange/green/LR/etc going by. Have thought about a vinyl wrap/repaint, but it's so much $$$ and would rather spend that on functional things.

Started this year; that was indicated to me by the dealership I've always gone to since 2016 and during my talks with them in Dec 2021. The minute they saw a 22 LR Sport in their inventory list allocated, that's when I got the call to get into the pre-contract which pretty much locks it in. I also was not required to place any $$ down and was also told I literally could've gone there when the taco arrived, if I didn't like it at all, they would just cancel the contract.

But of course when I saw it.....done deal LOL.
