I have read the thread on this issue already but I have further questions. I have eliminated a bad booster as the problem. When I have a hard brake pedal and switch the automatic transmission from park to reverse or drive, the truck as a hard surge as though the brakes are not applied. When the pedal feels normal, I don't have this problem. But, if I apply the parking brake, the truck does not surge, and the pedal feels fine. Any ideas? I have owned this truck since it was new. It was in a flood in 2016 and has had nearly all electronic parts replaced.

Fluid is fine. I drained the brake system and replaced the master cylinder and fluid about three years ago.
