I’ve been intermittently having an issue with a whistling noise. It happens more when accelerating. Hitting the brakes or stopping stops the noise. It sounds almost like a belt noise but I can’t find issue with any belts. I think it comes from the rear of the vehicle but hard to tell since it will only make the noise while rolling. I’ve attached a video. Anyone else have this problem?

Damn that's bad. I dont have any educated guesses. But maybe the driveshafts/ ujoints or even the carrier bearing are worn or rubbing

Yeah brakes are good, I thought of that but brakes make sound go away. I’m going to get a grease gun And try out the u joints I’ll update if that fixes it, it’s strange because I can ga a week or two and no sound then it will do it for a week straight

    Update:
Just got back from dealer and wanted to update everyone. NYCtaco52 you were correct. They replaced the carrier bearing and a U joint. This problem was hard to chase down for me and the dealership because the noise only happens when its rolling and has a load on the drive train. When they put it on the rack they never could get it to make the sound. It was all covered under warranty. and FYI my truck has 47000 miles on it. Thanks for the help all.

Thanks for posting. I have the exact same noise and it's been driving me CRAZY!!! Unfortunately I am over 60k miles. Do you know which U joint they replaced? Could it have been just the carrier bearing?
    Thanks!!!

So I took my truck back to the dealership, as it was making the same noise as the video, mine funny enough turned out to be the spare tire so they lubed it and tightened it and the noise is now gone, hope this helps some of yall
