I’ve wanted a Tacoma for ten years, so when the opportunity popped up to buy one I jumped at it. Fully loaded! Now I have all the optional packages which added quite a bit of cost to the purchase (the front and rear cameras helped adjust when relearning to park-- coming from a tiny hatchback). The LED headlights are amazing coming from some 10-year-old frosted over lights on my previous vehicle.

I’ve done a few adjustments already including the TRD Pro skid plate, interior LED lights, the OEM bed mat, and installed the bed lights.

I’d love to get some sliders, but some steps would probably solve the look I’m looking for. Smaller camping trips are in order, not sure I’ll ever be one of the rock crawling Youtube types. I’m in the Bay Area so mostly trips to Tahoe, Yosemite, and the coast. Also looking at those bronze trail edition wheels which I think would look great on the Lunar color!

    My car journey was:

98’ Corolla > 87’ Blazer C10 > 11’ Mazda3 Hatch > 22’ Tacoma. Was able to sell the Mazda for ~50% of what I paid on it 11 years later thanks to the car shortage.

Probably the worst financial decision I’ve ever made, but my wife peer pressured me into it LOL. Maybe I’ll sell it, I hate having a car note, but damn- I sure do have a stupid grin on my face every time I go for a drive.

Nothing but compliments on the color, depending on the weather it's like three colors in one.

Nice truck! I’m waiting for delivery on a TRD-OR 4x4 DCLB in red but I would’ve jumped on that Lunar color. It’s incredible.

Did your truck come with both front and rear cameras? I’m thinking about adding a front camera to help with parking/tight situations. I’m coming from a Forester that’s super nimble so I relate to what you said about having to relearn to park Lol

Congrats! I don’t think there are any smart financial decisions right now if you want to buy. As long as you do well on your trade it should help offset the inflated truck cost! Enjoy it!
