Who’s getting the worst 3G MPGs and why?

Be honest……

 

Driving habits by far is worst offender.

 

Lifetime 14.9 litres per 100 Kms. I drive the way I drive. Haven't changed in 30 years of driving.... if it isn't fun then why bother... fuel economy be damned.

Do you think a heavy-footed guy with a stock truck would get worse mileage than a bloated overlander?

I try like hell to get less than 20 mpg...I just can't pull it off.

2.7 ain't exactly a sipper...but a truck is a truck.

 

oh yeah. I can get single digits if I try.

 

I get on average anywhere between 1.6 & 48.2 mpg depending on if I've got my foot laid down on the skinny pedal going uphill while pulling my yacht or going downhill coming back from the grocery store.

 

Idling in the drive through kills my mileage.

 

Don't know, don't care, bought a truck to use a truck. You give a crap about MPG then a truck is not for you - get a Ridgeline.

 

Can't you use a Ridgeline as a truck? You know, like a Ford Ranger?

 

If you strap crap on the roof you can use an accord as a truck, too, but it don't make it a truck any more than a ridgeline is a truck just because if you squint just right it resembles one.

 

Good thing we made it to Friday so this thread makes sense now. I find if I keep some of my tires under pressure (y’all that’s gots more learning than dem engineers figure that out), and some at over pressure (^see prior parenthetical) along with daily oil changes whist running leaded high-test with plutonium spark plugs and a can of throttle in a bottle for good measure that my mileage is incalculable because I’m spending to much time on pornhub anyway.

With summer coming on don't forget to change the air in your tires. Winter air KILLS my mileage

 

Fortunately with climate change Summer air is in good supply and less impacted by inflation.

 

It’s probably going to be people who tow trailers. I heard towing, the Tacoma averages about 5-8mpg

 

Every time that I mention how good my mileage is I get so I have learned not to mention it.

 

What is 3G MPG's?
