I have a 09' Tacoma Prerunner 2wd. I want to replace the slip yoke that goes into the rear output shaft of the trans. Its a V6 4.0L Auto. Does anyone know how many variations of these were made and or which ones are interchangeable with my model? Toyota and may other want to sell you the whole shaft. I just would rather find one local used if I can. Thanks guys!

Can't answer your question but I have one of my own. Why does it need replaced? Just curious if there is something I need to BOLO for with my similar 2009.

I wouldnt think so, last owner was a joke of a mechanic and messed up the output housing with a screw driver and I ordered a new housing and wanted to get a lower miles yoke for it to mate to was all.

If no one has the direct answer go to the Toyota parts gateway or Toyota Parts Deal and enter your VIN. It can be a little cumbersome but you can generally find the part numbers for what you need there.
