I've got a 2017 tacoma TRD sport. Last weekend changed oil and did plugs and air filter. Check engine light and trac off light on...code p0393...cam shaft position sensor high bank b. Changed it. Reset codes. Good for a day, but lights came back on. Trac off light goes off when I get in the gas, but comes back on at idle. Engine light stays on and is solid. Truck seems sluggish and mpg seems lower. Any ideas?

Did you disconnect the battery while you were changing plugs?

If not try disconnecting your battery terminals take them completely off the battery both of them, and then touch the terminals to each other without having the battery in the circuit at all, IE do not short circuit your battery you are taking me positive terminal with the wires on it and touching it to the negative terminal with the wires on it while they are off the battery posts and hold them together for at least one minute alternatively you can take them off the battery and just tie them up so that they don't touch the battery posts and leave it like that for an hour this will reset the learned trims and behaviors in your ecu.

If you didn't reset your battery when you did your plugs more than likely the ECU is trying to feed too much current through the coil packs because your old plugs had a larger Gap and therefore more resistance and now you're timing advancement and combustion cycle is all changed but it's still trying to run the old learn tune.

Keep in mind for about the first tank of gas your mileage will definitely go down as the truck relearns your driving behavior and the changes in the system but should come back up assuming you gapped your plugs correctly.

FIGURED IT OUT!! Wire had come out of the plug for the cam shaft position sensor. Spliced in a new plug. It fixed it. Appreciate the help.
