Battery finally died . . .

    I have a bunch of old 1/4 thick rubber utility ground mats [they were not reusable due to a pinhole and failed in high voltage testing] I cut those to fit and put them under the battery in the trays of any battery I replace in pretty much everything. Isolates, dampens vibration, impervious to acid and since they flex a bit, One doesn't need to crank way down on the hold down straps. I'll kick the bucket before I run out of them.

    Also use them in the bed, few things slide around on rubber.

    Really, this is the better subject for this thread. :D It takes a dedicated person and lots of finger muscle endurance to post that much. Oh, and no life. :D Kidding of course. But there should be a prize for that.
