What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I work for a dealership group and I was fortunate enough to use our body shop. Really helped keep the cost down when you're an employee.

New coilovers and LBJs, surprisingly much easier than the rear, and nearly 3” (!) over these sagging jobbers (1.5” lift)



alignment in a week then the suspension refresh will officially be done

 

Wheels and tires mounted!

 

Got the new to me ARE tonneau cover on. Keys and hydrolics work like butter.

 

THOSE RIMS!!!!!!

 

Replaced a door latch

 

Busy morning, swapped the 60/40 for buckets and a center console & greased zerks

 

Nothing fancy just enjoyed the good weather and gave a couple vehicles a wash and wax. She still has a nice shine.

 

Can anyone point me in the direction of a name or part number for this top door seal I'm missing for the Double Cab.


Also If anyone has one in a parts bin let me know

That looks too be just a block plate. I would just get gasket material and cut a new one. I doubt the cork is oem.

Rockauto has them. Someone on here posted about it awhile back.

 

Not mine. TLT Off Road?
Saw this in a parking lot today. Not TRD off road. Anyone ever seen this or is it just a custom sticker job?

 

I feel like I'm a frequent flyer here lately lol which isn't a bad thing necessarily. New headlights in and blinker mod done, blacked out housing for corner lights too. Headlights were built my myself and a friend with the knowledge of how to do it. Fun project with an awesome end result.

 

Got those same shrouds coming for my 4runner. It's been a 6 month wait bxbuilt

 

Just a sticker someone put on.

 

Washed the seat belt for first time, it was pretty gross. Used two buckets of hot soapy water, bucket of oxyclean mix, finished with two buckets of rinse water. It retracts a lot better now.

 

My hatred of chrome trumps my hatred for the derp. Got rid of the chrome on the upper valance. Hoping to rhino line the whole bumper this summer along with the rear. Gave it a bath today too.

 

Alright, fellers. I’ve thought long and hard about the mudflaps we just took off of our 2004. They are free (plus shipping) to anyone who wants them. They’re not purty…one has a gouge in it. And the hardware is incomplete - we twisted off a couple bolts when removing.
