Nearly driven myself crazy looking for different lifts and decided I needed some help. Also I'm on a bit of a budget.

Probably best to wait until you have a little more change. Based off your budget you would be looking at spacers and blocks. Save up a little bit more and put something decent on.

3" will typically require aftermarket upper control arms (an additional $400-800) to get a decent alignment. Sticking to 2" can avoid that. If you want to save money you can do spacers/blocks F/R or 5100s F/R with with stock coils in front and a block in the rear. Getting the latter setup up to 2" will give the front a pretty stiff ride though. The next step, which would address the ride concern, would be to add Old Man Emu coils to the front and a 3-leaf add a leaf to the rear.

You mentioned reliability and, unfortunately, that and cheap are usually mutually exclusive. The common recommendation for your "needs" would be 5100s front and rear, Old Man Emu 887 coils in front, and a 3-leaf add a leaf in the rear.

That kit is $740 from Headstrong, which is a pretty fair price FTR.

Those 5100's are solid for their cost.

Hope it's okay to revive an old thread but I recently purchased a set of Billy 5100s all around and want to know which of the options on Headstrong I need.

Stuck between the ICON and Headstrong 3leaf AALs.

Additionally, should I get the 887 or 888 Old Man Emu springs? I intend on getting a bumper and winch in the future but it might be a while before that happens.

I got the headstrong ones. Didn't want to deal with the cutting with the icons.
