I thought Ttunes harness was supposed to
be long. it snot. I had to buy speed wire to make my T connection harness. I used an alpine 5 channel with speaker level inputs. unfortunately auto sense remote turn on won’t trigger!! so now I have to buy a pac tr4 trigger. I could take power from fuse box I guess.

my remote wire didnt work either from the harness or behind the head unit. i tried a few recc places and for whatever reason didt jive.

under the left side of dash is a little white accessory fuse box. it has a diagram on the lid of it. i used a 5 dollar "ad a fuse" and piggybacked the "IGN NO.2" fuse im pretty sure...you will see it named on fuse cover. it was one that only turned on with key. make sure to use a micro fuse pulling tool as they are tiny fuses.

the added fuse was like 5A, its very low current to remote wire.

good news is easy to run wire under door trim and panels back to amp.

I am installing a kicker key 200.4 in the dash (non jbl). I tapped this wire for remote turn on and now my radio will not turn off. What should I do?

The grey thin wire is the radio’s accessory wire. Your key may be set to the wrong remote setting. When the key is set to DC offset, the key’s blue wire becomes an OUTPUT and not an input. So once the key is on, the blue wire is sending power to the grey wire, which keeps the radio on, which keeps the Key on, which makes the blue wire send power to the grey wire. And over and over, thus the radio never turns off.

So check the amp turn-on switch and make sure it’s on 12v and not DC.
You may need to unplug the key’s power connection so the radio can turn off, then plug it back in and try again.

If it still keeps the radio on, disconnect the key’s blue wire from the grey wire, and set the key to DC. It shouldn’t need the remote wire at all

Alright, I'm still failing set up on the kicker key 200.4. I get sad tones and 4 beeps indicating auto eq failure. I tried disconnecting the rear speakers and setting the dip switch to defeat both the equalizer and the fader.

Why did you disconnect the rear speakers? And why did you disable the EQ and fader?

Per kickers installation video. Just to give it a shot, nothing else was working.

Hello there, I know this post is old but I wanted to ask for your help. I am installing a more expensive line out converter than what the “professional” installer put in there. The connector in my radio is the same as his: (2019 Camry XSE) 10 pin with the top and bottom left pins empty. With the connector facing up and the wires facing me, The top has pink/red, pink/green, pink/black, and pink/teal wires. The bottom has pink/green, pink/grey, pink/red, and pink/blue wires. The wires coming out seem to be the exact same except mines doesn’t have solid colors.

Can you clarify what the left and right, pos and neg wires are when the connector is facing up and the wires are towards me?

Also, The LOC for the front has four separate connections, while the rear and sub dedicated LOC has four connections with two wires of the same color in one butt connector. What’s the reason for this?
I’m going to try to provide pictures, I hope this isn’t too much to digest.

Did you find the wiring to be the same as listed here? Crutchfield gave me a diagram with different colors per speaker. Hard to believe our setup would be different than the SRs.

Not intimately familiar with the actual differences of the set up but I know there are definitely differences with the JBL system which I assume you have if you have a pro.

Fortunately, the MT pros don’t come with JBL.

That’s weird. So you’re saying the manual transmissions do not, but the autos do?

Exactly right, and it seems no one can agree on why that is. There are a few other differences too that are a bit more obvious, such as not having the multi terrain mode, push start, keyless entry.

Yea, I could create possible rationales where those could interfere with the manual drivetrain but the audio should have nothing to do with it.

Yo! Is this with the lock tab up and wires going toward or away from me? Appreciate it.

All I know is that I have a sunglasses holder where the MTM knobs would be, and I for sure use it more than the other. MT is also cheaper, but not likely simply because of the audio, maybe also demand.
