That and the bed is like an ice rink. Almost don’t have to tie in my plastic totes with the mat.

oh yeah forgot about that, bought those too.

I did ceramic tint and bought some ratchet straps and a cargo net (net is mostly for groceries). I tossed in my jumper cables from my old vehicle and I put my trauma kit behind the rear seat. It’s the one I carry with me when I’m running a saw. I’ve never had to use it outside of work but it’s something nice to have at all times IMO. Last thing I did “first” was install my dash cam with the little rear view mirror dongle. I swapped to different tires as well but I live in a very cold and icy climate half the year so I wanted tires with better siping and ice traction.

As far as “must haves” that was it for me. You could add a vehicle fire extinguisher if you wanted (my work vehicles have them but I don’t carry them on my personal vehicle) but jumper cables and a small med kit are truly all the necessities. Drive your rig first then add things later as you find out what your needs and use cases are.

    Congrats on the new rig!

you have a brand new truck. enjoy the stock suspension, new tires and all that. dont mod it.

since the truck is new, i would suggest ceramic coating. do it yourself. best to protect that paint before it gets defects in it.
    tint is great.
if you plan on going off roading, throw some stuff under the rear seeat. i have a 25' recovery rope, 2 "D" shackles. and a pin that goes into the trailer hitch.

everything else is up to you.

Get the drop in tray for the center console, and the glove box organizer/divider.

Imo this one is better than the other name brand one. I forget the brand. This is more reflective so it seems like it keeps the heat out better. Plus the other brand already fell apart on me.

First thing I did to my 2019 & 2022 CCSB Off Road trucks was to spray the undercarriage down with Fluid Film.
I'm from Massachusetts, so it's a must have in my book.

In Arizona, I can see why others suggest a good tint job.

The one I listed it more substantial than the generic bubble wrap type. It’s almost foam cored.

I know, especially coming from an 11-year-old pretty basic vehicle, this truck is going to feel like I’ve travelled into the future.

Definitely planning to keep it for a long time, and even if I weren’t, tint is really necessity here in the desert!

Ooh that looks like a good sunshade. How’s it held up? I’ve had a Heatshield one in my old Forester that’s served me well here in AZ, but haven’t decided what brand to get for the new truck.

And yes, definitely dark ass tint. Did you do ceramic? How dark did you go?

also, how do you like your soft topper??

Yep got the mats. What style/brand seat covers do you like? There are so many options. I know I don’t want anything leather or neoprene cause it’s so hot here.

Thanks for the input. Good call on the sill protectors. What topper do you have?

Weathertech sunshades full vehicle kit…ALL of the windows…windshield, all four doors, can’t remember if the back window is included. This is the best $150 mod for anyone in a hot sunny climate.

Leer 100 with windoors. Love those things, great for not having to crawl to grab stuff from the front of the bed.
