Got the Wally World AGM 24F special installed today. Cleaned up all the acid residue with water and baking soda and put some foam tape on the bottom of the battery tray to help protect the paint. Need to order an agm compatible float charger and a new battery top strap though. Maybe off grid engineering? Sent a PM to @Coupe

Does Novus plastic polish system (1, 2 & 3) work on scratches on fenders flares? Proofs in the pudding. I’d say it took care of 90-95% there’s a few that were pretty deep. I forgot to take a pic of 1 (oops). I’ll do a separate thread so peeps can find it easily when they are looking for something that works but…here’s a couple more before and after.

 

Might need to negotiate with your insurance company with an argument for oem parts depending on the company you are with. State Farm covers it though, still might need a conversation with your agent.. the dealership is the safer choice if you are still under warranty and if they cause damage to any electronics, you know they will step up and take care of things the right way.

 

Everything that I have read, most people don't notice any difference except at high RPM. Only reason I ordered it was cat was stolen, so couple hundred extra and got this lol.
Unfortunately, I dropped under the truck earlier today and the exhaust bolts are rusted beyond what I can do with hand tools, so I have to go to a shop and pay someone else to do this simple job

You used a clay bar on a truck that is “5 days old”?

 

Got my truck back from the body shop (again, oof) after hitting a rock in March. Rocker panel is good as new. So I spent the weekend installing RCI Cat-guards, cleaning up the air filter and rotating the tires. Next week I'll do my first oil change and add the fumoto valve and use all the nice fancy oil change things that make it less messy. Wish me luck that I don't spill!

PS. Randy Ellis rock sliders on order for June arrival. Should be a fun install and make it so I don't break stuff like this again.

PPS. If you want to get rid of that pin striping, just dent your door enough to get a new paint job!
