In an urban environment, can a 6” lift with 35’s enter standard parking garages? Or do I have to downsize to 3” and 33’s to fit?

I'm 1.5" over stock on 33s and it's tight when I go into one...

Nope. I’m on 33s 3” and I’ve been in some that clear the roof top antenna by less than a 1/2”. It freaks me out.

I’m on 33s with a 3.5 plus a prinsu rack. No issues in Atlanta parking garages.

At this point might as well go ahead and butcher the truck with 6” lift not needed to clear 35’s

I say do it. Giant diesel exhaust tip on it. 24” rims. Etc

Sure. But on those old downtown low clearance garages, you gotta drive real fast in order to compress the springs enough.

That's one way to get the post count up I guess. However I truly appreciate the reminder of why I stay out of this area of the forum.

    8 1/2" lift with 37's.

I fit in the Millennium Garages in Chicago. 6'8" is the height limit and my truck measures @ 6'5" with 7" front lift and 315 70 r17s. Antenna bashes around a little but it is no issue. Most garages are minimum 6'8" for clearance these days at least in my area.

Thank you everyone. The input has been (for the most part) helpful. I ended up deciding on 3” + (yet to be installed) roof rack & 33’s. My next relocation will most likely be Houston, which packs in low ceiling 3 story townhomes on half lots inside the loop and seems to have more parking garage levels than office buildings.

@Johnny DemonT I never would have guessed a 7” lift & 35’s sat at 6’5”. I’m having some buyers regret now, and a bit jealous <facepalm>

I have a 6 inch lift on 35's and I'm about as tall as a stock full size truck with some wheels lol.
