OG cabin filter was gross AF

    Be careful with that sap. It could cause paint damage if you don't clean it off soon. Some saps are corrosive and can damage the clear coat if not addressed quickly

    And oddly enough, as humid as it is here - they do dry up..

    I realize it has been a while but wanted to say thanks for this idea - worked great!

    I smeared it with butter, scratched it with a nylon brush, some was way crusted + the brush made things go faster/didn't mess up my paint, then got the rest off with my fingernail.
    It worked way better than the pine/tar remover and I didn't feel bad about having it all over my hands either.

    Mine came off so many times that the clip thing on the dash side of it got so mangled that it wouldn't stay anymore
