Scanner and a 3D printer, should get the work done. Plenty of guys on this forum with those tools.

 

Got a line on a new never used TRD S/C assembly for $3k for my Tundra. Fit kit is $2500 from dealer. Still about $2k less than new for a full assembly. Second in line for it but sounds like the fist guy may bow out.

Is it the roller rocker or is it our “early” 1gr ?

Is this single vvti s/c have that much more to offer then what we all have now??

 

The plenum isn't the only issue to resolve.

Pulleys would need swapping over to a 6 rib and the thermostat housing would need to get modified as well.

 

If this is for a single VVTi 1GR, the TVS1900 will have a good bit more headroom over the MP90 rotor pack.

 

DAMMMMN! Wish they would do this for the 2uz.

 

Sweet, just bought! I wanted the Harrop s/c but at a $2k discount I couldn't really pass this up. Can't wait to get it on!

 

@12TRDTacoma will some of the front page tips and tricks transfer over to this one? Like the brass restrictor jet removal, and adjusting that one thing till it goes "tink"? Not nearly as much info on the Tundra forums as this one.

Just made 426whp on a TVS1900 today. Leaning out (fuel pump needed) slightly and pulling some timing.

 

What boost/pulley does it have?

 

This was on a 4.0?

 

100% Stock Magnuson Kit, I don't have boost data or pulley sizes unfortunately. I'll see if I can dig up the details on the upper/lower pulleys.

Unfortunately not. 3UR (otherwise stock). The client stated the stock Magnuson supplied VF based tune made ~380whp. This was done on HPTuners.

 

Hp tuners now supports new Tacoma ?

Justin and OTT now tune with multiple tuning systems/platforms besides hp tuners

 

the 3UR is the Tundra 5.7L. HPTuners just got it working for the 2019-2021 a few months ago

 

I keep reading conflicting info about the fit kits, some say they come with both upgraded injectors and fuel pump, some don't. Got an opinion on injector and pump sizes for the 3UR? Likely I'll be sourcing out my fit kit pieces separately to keep cost down. s/c online replied to my email saying they charge $4200 plus shipping for theirs, which is laughable.
