2016 Tacoma SR5 stock with Weather Tech mud flaps. It currently has steel rims with 245/75R16 tires.

If I go with TRD pro rims and 265/70R17 Falken WILDPEAK A/T3W tires, should I run into any rubbing issues?

Anyone have a pic they would share of their similar setup?

Only thing people sometimes have issues rubbing on with that tire size is the factory mud flaps. Don't know if the weather techs will be better or worse.

So to update everyone, I went with the TRD Pro rims and Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus tires. They did rub my Weathertech mudflaps when turned to the most extreme in either direction. I marked them with the wheels turned and took them off to trim them. They are now scrub-free.

I had another question, my old tires were supposed to be run at 32 PSI (according to the truck label on the door). Do I run the new bigger tires at 32 PSI also? The shop that put them on left 37 PSI in the tires. That seems high.

Do you have any lift on this truck? I’m looking at the same tire with about a 2 inch lift. I know these tires are only about an inch over stock height so I should be good but I want to be able to clear snow chains easily.

Ok I was considering this same size tire also. I picked up the wheels and lift and I know I want wildpeaks. I just need the right size.
